Fitness Showcase was established in 1979. We started with a small storefront in North Orlando, where we sold York freeweights and benches. We soon moved to a larger, five thousand square foot facility to better serve our customers, which largely consisted of high school and college coaches. At that time, we designed and manufactured much of the equipment ourselves. We also regularly interacted with the coaches in order to encourage the development of strength programs at the schools. From on-sight visits, coachs' shows, and seminars we gradually made progress in establishing successful strength programs throughout Florida. Our efforts have had a profound influence on the early development of high school strength programs. This helped to put Florida ahead of the rest of the country by creating bigger, stronger, and faster athletes. Some of our original equipment is still in use in these programs today.

Over the years, as the quality and function of retail fitness equipment improved, it began to exceed what we could manufacture ourselves. Soon, we started exclusively stocking only the finest brands of fitness equipment available - such as Landice Treadmills and York weight training equipment. We moved to our present eight thousand square foot facility in 1991 in order to accommodate our increasing line of products.

Today, in addition to York and Landice, we carry TuffStuff, Precor, BodySolid, Vision, Vectra, and many more quality brands. Over the years we have also developed a large residential market which draws on our knowledge, expertise, and our combined 80 years of experience to help them match the right pieces of equipment to their needs.

In our twenty-three years we have seen dozens of fitness equipment manufacturers, as well as other retailers, come and go. We, however, have endured by being accommodating, knowledgeable, and honest with our customers.
